Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about trading on Ark Market Place.
Ark Market Place is a secure, escrow-based trading marketplace built for the ARK: Survival Ascended gaming community. It lets players buy and sell dinos, blueprints, resources, and services using $ASA4 tokens. Think of it as a purpose-built exchange where every transaction is protected by our escrow system — your funds are locked until both parties confirm the trade is complete.
$ASA4 (ArkCoin) is an ERC-20 token on the Polygon blockchain. It's the exclusive currency used on Ark Market Place for all trades. 1 $ASA4 = 1 Tek — prices are equivalent to in-game Tek values, so ARK players can instantly understand what items cost. You can buy $ASA4 directly on the platform using a credit card (via Stripe) or Pix (for Brazilian users), or deposit existing tokens from your Polygon wallet. Every $ASA4 transaction is recorded on-chain for full transparency.
Go to your Wallet page and click "Buy $ASA4". You have two options: pay with a credit/debit card via Stripe (available internationally, with a 2.9% + $0.30 fee), or use Pix for instant payment if you're in Brazil (~1% fee). Once payment is confirmed, the $ASA4 is credited to your platform wallet instantly.
Click "Create Listing" from your dashboard. Choose a category (Dinos, Blueprints, Resources, or Services), add a title, description, screenshots, set your price in $ASA4, and select which ARK map/server applies. Once published, your listing appears on the marketplace. When a buyer places an order, you'll be notified to accept it and coordinate the in-game delivery.
When a buyer places an order, their $ASA4 is moved from their wallet balance to a secure escrow hold — neither the buyer nor the seller can access these funds during the trade. Once the buyer confirms they received the item in-game, the $ASA4 is released to the seller (minus the 5% platform fee). If something goes wrong, either party can open a dispute and our team will review it.
If either party has an issue with a trade, they can open a dispute from the order page. The funds remain safely locked in escrow while our admin team reviews the case. Both parties can provide evidence via the order chat. Once reviewed, the admin will either release the funds to the seller (if the trade was completed) or refund the buyer. All decisions are final to prevent abuse.
As a seller, you receive your $ASA4 as soon as the buyer confirms receipt of the item. If the buyer doesn't confirm within 72 hours after delivery is marked, the system automatically completes the trade and releases the funds to you. Your $ASA4 balance is then available immediately for trading, transferring to other users, or withdrawing to your Polygon wallet.
Once a seller marks an order as delivered, a 72-hour countdown begins. If the buyer doesn't confirm receipt or open a dispute within those 72 hours, the system automatically completes the order and releases the $ASA4 to the seller. A warning notification is sent to the buyer at the 48-hour mark. This prevents funds from being held indefinitely in escrow.
After each completed trade, the buyer can leave a 1-5 star review with an optional comment. Your trust level is calculated based on your total completed trades, average review rating, and account age. Trust levels range from New Trader to Legendary. Higher trust levels give other users confidence in trading with you. Disputes and cancellations can negatively affect your trust level.
